Media Center Computer PrintingYou may print from any computer in the Media Center. Printing charges are as follows:
Book CheckoutThe Media Center has over 10,000 books available for use and checkout by students. Students may have up to three books at a time checked out for a period of fifteen school days. Due dates are always stamped on the label on the back cover of the book.
Please check it often so that you return your book before the due date. You may renew your book one time before the due date. Reference books are not available for checkout but may be used in the Media Center, or copies of pages may be made for .10 cents per page. |
Student Use of the Media CenterTo come to the Media Center during the regular school day you must have your agenda book completely filled out and signed by your current period teacher. Yes, this does include during advisement/lunch. You may come to the Media Center before or after school without a pass.
Any time you come to the Media Center you must have a school assignment to work on. You are always welcomed to come in and check out a book or read a book or magazine. The circulation desk is equipped with an automated sign in/sign out system. Always sign in at the circulation desk upon arrival and sign out when leaving. Teachers do check to see if students come to the Media Center, so be sure to sign in/sign out. Overdue Books and FinesBooks should be returned by the due date stamped on the back cover of the book. A fine of .10 cents per school day will be charged for books returned after the due date. Fines are not charged for school holidays and weekends.
Please return your book once you realize it is late. You do not have to pay your fine when you return the book. The fine will stop accumulating once the book has been returned. You may pay your fine at any time either in the Media Center or through your My Payments Plus account.. Fines will not exceed $3.00 per book.
Students may not check out other books until fine obligations and overdue books are cleared. Lost BooksCharges for lost books for the 2014-2015 school year are as follows:
